Reason To Live - Friday Night Jam

And it's almost close to tradition pag dumadating ang Friday. :) Friday Night Jam ulit! Tonight, we are very blessed to hear God's message about the purpose of our lives. The message was given by ate Love. :) She's one of the people that I admire the most because her attitude and character really radiates God's joy. :) She's super masayahin and her name says it all. She's full of love. :) And it wouldn't be possible without God working upon her life.

Whoops. Pakita ko muna 'to. This is taken habang nag-a-ice breaker ang FNJ. This is the new extension of our worship hall. They are just separated by walls pero kung tatanggalin yung nasa kanan, malaki talaga siya. Kasi what's behind the walls are halls. So we are praying for this. Para mas marami pang tao ang ma-accommodate. :) All for Christ Jesus! By the way, Pastor Rey is our head pastor. This man is really annointed. :) He is our tatay sa church, of course bearing in mind that God is the Tatay of all tatays. :) And Kuya Markko or kuya Mak is our lead guitarist and it is his birthday today. Happy birthday kuya! :)

Ate Love, with her preaching entitled "Reason to Live."

"Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,  I press ontoward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 3:13-14)

That is the base scripture of Ate Love's preaching. I, myself, was moved title pa lang. Have you asked your self if why or what on earth are you living for? It reminds me of the book, "Purpose Driven Life." So, have you asked what's your purpose? Are we just here to have fun and party all night long? 

Papano mo binubuhay ang buhay mo kapatid? Are you living a life that's worth looking back pag dumating na ang point na kaunti nalang ang oras mo sa mundo? Ate Love shared how she would describe her life before. At first, I did not believe her kasi sabi niya her life is so lonely. And it is so opposite by how she looks by now 'cause as I've said, she really is a jolly person.

And it all became possible because God changed her life. I, myself, had the worst of life before. I was a nobody; a total emo. Introvert. But everything changed when God came. And pwede rin itong mangyari sa buhay mo kapatid. The moment we allow Jesus to enter our lives and let Him be the ultimate authority of it, we can see that things can really change for the better. Yung dating ikaw ay hindi na babalik once we accept Jesus. We have to move forward towards what God is making us. And the real purpose of our life is to serve and glorify God.

But before that could happen, let's search our hearts. Kung merong sign board ang puso natin para sa Panginoon, anong nandoon? "Sorry, temporary closed." "Sorry, unavailable." Kumusta ang relationship mo kay God? There is nothing worth having than a relationship with Jesus. Because in the end, everything will be worth the fight. :) And we can be assured that we'll go home beside the Father. :)
