"The Awakening; Fire and Passion" G12 Taguig Annual Gathering

It happened last Saturday, September 13, 2014. Iba't-ibang churches under G12 Taguig City ang nagsama-sama for the Annual Gathering. And this year's theme is entitled, "The Awakening; Fire and Passion". It was a day filled with worship and praises to our God almighty. Everyone was awakened. Matagal na tayong tulog. Tulog eveytime na nananawagan ang Diyos. We are ought to accomplish our mission of sharing the gospel and winning people to Christ. But lots of Christians are sleeping. And now is the time to awaken and have that fire and passion for God burning once again.

"The Awakening" Shirt 

And this is the shirt. :) Hindi lang yan basta shirt, may kwento pa behind diyan. This shirt is not actually mine. I borrowed it from a beloved nanay of our church. Nanay means mother. :) Hindi talaga ako nag-avail ng shirt because I was short of funds that time. God knows my needs and I had been praying for it. Then, like a dream come true, this nanay of ourse offered me to borrow this shirt for a while. She ordered it para sa anak niya pero wala yung anak niya na magsusuot, kaya pinahiram niya muna sakin! :) God is really good. :) And I love nanay. :)

This is our friend, Haidie. Nag-s-start nang mapuno ang buong auditorium ng TCU of souls ready to feel the burning passion for God.

Praise and Worship

And it goes awesome. Everyone's heart burned with compassion and indeed was awakened as praises and songs of worship begin to a blast. Hindi talaga mapigilan ang pagpalakpak at paghiyaw ng bawat pusong uhaw sa Panginoon.

Bishop Bien with Pastor Rey

This is Bishop Bien and Pastor Rey. Bishop Bien is our main speaker for the gathering. Pastor Rey is our senior pastor at Provident Lord Mission Church International. He is the coordinator of G12 Taguig. Meanwhile, Bishop Bien is the senior pastor of Holy Spirit Christian Church and he is the mentor of Pastor Rey. God delivered a very powerful message through him. Everyone is indeed awakened and fire and passion burned in every heart.

"Kung ano ang fino-focus-an mo, 'yon ang dadami sa'yo" Bishop Bien speaks. Kung ang mga problema natin ang focus natin, dadami ang problema natin. Kung ang trabaho ang focus natin, dadami ang trabaho natin at lahat i-aassign na sa atin hanggang burned out na tayo. Pero kung winning souls at making disciples ang focus mo, dadami ang mga disciples mo para sa Lord. :) He also shared that through awakening, the former things can transform into greater things. Kung dati taga-butas lang tayo ng mga bangko sa simbahan, ngayon, we are active leaders of the church winning souls and making disciples for the Lord. We just need to get involved and increase the level of evangelism and discipleship. And lastly, we need to honor our leaders. We need to do something for them. :) Maraming tao ang nakakalimutang i-respeto ang ating mga leaders or our pastors. They are the people na bi-nless ng Lord para makakilala tayo sa Panginoon. Kaya we should all the more respect and honor them. :)

Two of our delegates also shared on the gathering what God did to their respective ministry. Una is Kuya Andy and we already met him in the post "Tagaytay Escapade". He shared how his ministry grow sa ibang bansa and it is all because of God. Same with Ms. Desiree. She also shared kung papaano gumagalaw ang Lord sa kanyang ministry. They truly became an inspiration to everyone that attended the gathering.

 The gathering is also filled with standing-ovation-worth of presentations. :)
