FNJ's got a bit of twist yesterday as our amazing speaker, Gel, introduced God's topic through every student's favorite subject - Math. Specifically, Geometry. :) Do I sound sarcastic? Haha. Pero kidding aside, and as the title speaks of it, how can we ever think God can inspire us from this subject that most of us hate while we were still students. Of course exempted ang Math geniuses, but lets face it. Not everyone is good in this subject. :) But Math did look inspiring tonight. :D

Gel as she speaks of God's message tonight (October 3, 2014). |
Alam ba nating lahat kung ano ang right angle? Set aside math, and sa Tagalog, tamang anggulo. Sa picture, sa selfie, sa portraits, sa buhay, etc. But mathematically speaking, a right angle is measured 90 degrees. Or the letter "L", yan ang itsura ng right angle, so to speak. And to form a right angle, there must be two complementary angle. Or dalawang angle whose measurement when added would sum up to 90. Example, two 45 degrees, 50 and 40 degrees, etc. These complementary angles are perfect two make a right angle.
9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me." (2 Corinthians 12:9)
But it was not her (Gel) math teacher that taught her about right angles and their complementary angles, it was Jesus who did. :) Sa buhay natin, meron tayong ka-complementary, and that is Jesus. Hindi ang ating BFF, boyfriend or girlfriend, family, or kung sino pa man. In the verse above, His grace is sufficient for us, His power is made perfect in our weakness. Siya ang pupuno ng ating mga kakulangan. Siya ang ating magiging mga paa, tenga, mata kapag hindi na natin kayang tumayo, makarinig, at makakita. Siya ang ating magiging lakas sa ating panghihina. He is our perfect complement. :) This was a short but very meaningful and understandable message of God through Gel. :)

And that's it! :D Be happy always! :D Know that GOD is our sole complementary in any area of our lives. This morning, I realized, lahat tayo we are trying to find that one man/woman, or our better halves. Yung kalahati ng puso natin na siyang bubuo nito. Pero, with this message, we can realize that only Jesus can make our life whole and He is our better half. :) For if we find that "half" in a person, we can't be assured na mabubuo niya talaga yung part na gusto nating mabuo. Because in our hearts, there is only that part that Jesus alone can fill. :D God bless you kapatid! :D
