I Have A Great Purpose - Friday Night Jam

Thank God it's Friday! And, with the love and grace from the Lord, we again have our Friday Night Jam! :D We are blessed to hear God's message for tonight through Brother Kerby! Siya yung camera-magnet if you happen to view my Tagaytay Escapade post. :D So, let's run through this and once again, let's be blessed! :D

I super love this pic. Haha. Before anything else, let's welcome the birthday girl, ate Love! :D If you happen to read my last post entitled "Reason to Live - Friday Night Jam", siya yung speaker. And today is her birthday! :D We are so happy for her. :D Kamakailan lang nauso ang photo bombers sa mga pictures ng church. Nagsimula or mas lalong naging laganap nung dumating si Kuya Andy. :D

OMG. I badly needed hair iron or better yet have my hair rebonded. Haha. Mukha nang triangle ang hair ko. :) Anyway, this is Lisa. :) I just met her today and we are blessed as we attended FNJ. I've got the chance to know her and knowing that we have the same faith makes the whole evening wonderful. :) Blessed talaga ako pag nakakakilala ng mga taong mayroong fire and passion for God and for the Great Commission. At ganoon si Lisa. :) By the way, she got long beautiful hair. :) In contrast talaga sa buhok ko. Haha. Madami kaming napagkwentuhan and na-share niya yung mga activities niya sa mother church nila sa Laguna. :)

Okay, let's get on the Word. :D Pinaalala nanaman saatin ng Panginoon, through Kerby, na ang buhay natin ay hindi aksidente at may purpose ang bawat araw na dumadaan sa atin. May dahilan ang Panginoon kung bakit Niya tayo nilikha. At kasabay ng reason na iyon, ang mga napakagandang plano na mayroon Siya para sa atin. God is not bored when He created us. Or it wasn't boredom that lead God to create us. There is purpose in our lives.

10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:10)

 This is the base verse of tonight's preaching. First, we are created to know God. We are made in His image and likeness and karapat-dapat lamang na kilalanin natin ang dakilang lumikha sa atin. We are created not just to know God, but to have this strong relationship with Him. This relationship is the most important relationship that we should have. Para Siyang isang nagmamahal na naghihintay na mahalin at bigyan natin ng oras. How is your relationship with Jesus, kapatid?

Next, we are created to enjoy God's blessings. God created man along with all the trees, animals, and everything on earth para ma-enjoy nating mga tao, He created these to provide for our needs. And that is all because He loves us. Lahat ng kailangan natin ay kayang i-provide ng Lord. We just need to really believe and stay faithful sa Kanyang mga salita.

And last, we are created to praise God. Praising and worshiping God is a way for us to show Him kung gaano natin Siya kamahal. At hindi natin kayang ibalik sa Kanya ang lahat ng ibinigay or ginawa Niya for us. But through wholehearted praise and worship, we are able to show Him kung gaano kalalim yung love natin para sa Kanya. And I believe, as long as we humbly offer our praises, sobrang matutuwa ang Panginoon. :)
